What is Energy Psychology & how can it help you?

Kinesiology-based Energy Psychology is a holistic, non-invasive therapy utilising gentle muscle monitoring (biofeedback) to identify and clear stress, energetic blockages, and emotional imbalances held in the body's subconscious.

Kinesiology-based Energy Psychology sessions with Kate combine cognitive and somatic techniques that influence the human bio-energy systems including meridians, chakras and auric fields to rapidly reduce stress and trauma responses, bringing your system into balance and  improving physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Releasing stress stored in the body is a key to unlocking rapid positive change, so it's easier to move forward and break through to a more expansive, joyful and connected experience of life.

Kinesiology sessions with Kate always incorporate Energy Psychology techniques, which can facilitate transformational change at many levels, rapidly helping adults and children reduce strong painful emotions, process traumatic events, shift limiting beliefs and live with greater self acceptance, peace and connection.  Some benefits include:

Mental and physical health issues are related to altered flow and function in the body’s electrical energies and energy fields. The idea that manipulating the body’s electricity and energy can bring about healing and spiritual development is a root of many ancient, holistic approaches to medicine.

Trauma responses trapped in the mind-body system can have a negative impact on a person's outlook, experiences, emotional regulation, and ability to relate to others, and Energy Psychology techniques can help a person release these events more rapidly than they might with talking therapies alone.

Traumatic or stressful memories and fears trapped in the body can lead to hyperarousal, which may manifest as muscular tension, decreased tolerance for pain, feelings of anxiety or dread, jumpiness, sleeping difficulties, increased emotional responses, and more.

Kinesiology and Energy Psychology techniques help reduce states of hyperarousal, and together with awareness of triggers that produce anxiety and negative emotions, the body and mind become better able to create new, healthier responses.

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood, such as violence, abuse, severe neglect, or mental health problems in caregivers.

Utilising a body-mind-spirit approach in treating ACE-related conditions has advantages for bringing healing and resolution compared with talk and exposure therapies that do not intervene at the body level.

According to ACEP (Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology), “There are over 400 identified forms of psychotherapy, many of which have little or no research to validate them. Energy psychology is both evidence-based and in the top 10% in terms of published research for psychotherapy modalities.(https://www.energypsych.org/energy-psychology)

Not only does this allow time and space to explore and get to the root cause of potentially complex issues, it also signals to the Universal Energy and your own Divine Self that you are serious about making deep and lasting change.

Seeing any kind of therapist just once is a great start, but committing to several or ongoing sessions, and being willing to do some homework in between, will take you to another whole level of healing and transformation ON ALL LEVELS of your being!
